Since many years we have been producing thousands of customized steel wire items for various areas of the professional sector: catering, pastry, bistro, medical, and more.

Among the many types of articles, there is one that stands out for its enormous flexibility in terms of final use and variety of materials that can be used: the wire grids.

In addition to the typical standard GN 1-1, 2-1, 600 x 400 mm, there are a lot of other possible sizes, wire placements and, especially, superficial treatments.

For example, the oven grids are generally made of chrome-plated S235JR steel, or electro-polished Aisi 304, while for refrigerators it is preferred to use S235JR steel grids plasticized with polyethylene, a material particularly suitable for cold and constant temperatures. In some cases, by customer choice, we use white Rilsan, a higher quality powder than polyethylene, that is normally used for dishwasher baskets or for the medical industry.

Another examples are the grids for coffee machines, which are usually made of Aisi 304, and the side-grids for ovens and refrigerators, for which the material is chosen in according to the customer’s needs.
